1.One of the best places to find deals on a good digital camera is eBay. The deals that you can find for digital cameras or anything else for that matter, on eBay are many times hard to find any where else. If you have never bought anything on eBay before, I have included a link in the "Additional Resources" section at the bottom so that you can begin your search for the best deal on your digital camera.
2. However, before you purchase, you may want to go to your local Office Depot, Walmart, or Best Buy to test them out. Take a picture with a few of them to see how quickly or slowly it focuses to take a picture. Testing this indoors is best, as most cameras can take a really nice picture in natural sunlight. Also look at the menu options. Are there more options than needed, is it confusing at first glance, if so, dont waste your money, you may never figure out how to use it even after reading the manual (assuming that you're the type of person that reads the manual).
3 . A great comparison shopping site is Pricegrabber (pricegrabber.com). If you type "digital camera" into the "Shop for" bar you'll get a ton of product results back; if you want to refine your search you can enter a brand name like, Nikon or Fuji or Sony plus "digital camera". Pricegrabber will show you a set of available products with the price ranges for each. This is going to help you determine which deal gives you the best bang for your buck.
4. Try Overstock.com for potential deals. This can be a hit-or-miss deal with Overstock, but you have the chance to land some good deals when it does hit. See the "Additional Resources" section below for the link.
